MCLE FAQs

The Certificate of Completion issued at the end of the program evidences your attendance. Illinois attorneys are required to track their CLE credit earned during their two-year reporting period. You must keep your Certificate of Completion for three years after the end of your two-year reporting period. Do not submit it to the MCLE Board, unless requested for audit purposes, the ARDC or another CLE provider.  Providers, such as the ARDC, report individual attorney attendance hours to the MCLE Board.  For additional information on MCLE requirements, please visit the Illinois MCLE Board’s website at: www.mcleboard.org.

You may claim MCLE credit for each course completed once within a 12-month period.

You may obtain a copy of your Certificate of Completion for ARDC programs completed on or after January 1, 2017, by going to My Certificates under the Online Learning Portal menu.

Any difficulties in obtaining or questions about your Certificate of Completion, please review the available support options by going to Support under the Online Learning Portal menu.
