RULE 718 PROVISIONS OF LEGAL SERVICES FOLLOWING DETERMINATION OF MAJOR DISASTER

For Out of State Lawyers


Under Supreme Court Rule 718, out of state lawyers may practice in Illinois following the determination of a major disaster in this state, or within the US jurisdiction in which the lawyer primarily practices.

Attorneys applying for authorization subject to Supreme Court 718 must complete a statement pursuant to Rule 718(h).  Sample statements are provided below.
